Need to cover a 6 ft exit? What is the best Checkpoint Loss Prevention system for me?

The first question you need to ask yourself is: Do I need 2 antennas or 3?

Start by examining the amount of traffic through the exit. Will a third antenna in the middle of the entrance get in the way of large items or shipments coming in or out? If so, then a Dual Antenna System will be a better choice.

Checkpoint has two great Security Systems to cover a 6 ft exit, the Strata dual antenna system and the QS 2000 three antenna system. A Strata tower can cover 3 ft in direction and two can be inked to cover a 6 ft exit. A typical QS 2000 consists of 2 pedestals that can be placed a maximum of 3 ft apart. A third antenna can be linked to cover a 6 ft exit, the system you create two 3 ft aisles to pass through.

If your store has consistently high levels of traffic, then a three antenna system will experience more wear and tear. Ultimately costing more in service and repairs. It can also slow the flow of traffic in and out. For this situation use the Strata dual antenna security system.

If the exit is surrounded with lots of merchandise, especially directly next to the Strata antennas it is possible for them to pick up more interference (false alarms). In this case would recommend the QS 2000 with the expansion antenna to cover the 6 ft exit.

No matter which EAS solution you choose a high quality, refurbished and tested Checkpoint Security System will should last 8 to 10 years.
